Ukrainian banks get UAH 17.5B in net profit in Jan-Apr 2021 - NBU

In January-April 2021, Ukrainian banks received UAH 17.5 billion in net profit, Ukrinform reports with reference to data provided by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
The net profit of Ukrainian banks amounted to UAH 17.5 billion in January-April 2021, which is UAH 7.7 billion less than in the same period last year. In January-April 2020, Ukrainian banks generated UAH 25.2 billion in net profit.
As Ukrinform reported, the net profit of Ukrainian banks amounted to UAH 41.3 billion in 2020, which is 29% less than in 2019. In the first quarter of 2021, state-owned banks got UAH 3.2 billion in net profit.
