Ukrzaliznytsia plans to resume passenger traffic to Austria and Hungary in June – Kryklii

JSC Ukrzaliznytsia plans to resume international passenger traffic to Austria and Hungary on the Kyiv-Vienna and Chop-Zakhon routes in June.

The relevant preliminary agreements have been reached between the two countries, the Government portal reports.

"From June, JSC Ukrzaliznytsia plans to resume rail passenger traffic to Austria and Hungary on the Kyiv-Vienna and Chop-Zakhon routes. Negotiations are also underway with PKP Intercity and Polish Railways. Follow the information on entry conditions and current restrictions in foreign countries on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant embassies, and travel safely," Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklii said.

According to the minister, control over compliance with all anti-epidemiological measures on international routes will be strengthened.

As of May 7, Ukraine recorded 8,404 new coronavirus cases.
