Ukreximbank generated UAH 201.9M in net profit this year

Since the beginning of 2021, the state-owned bank has received a total of UAH 201.9 million in net profit.

According to the bank’s press service, the positive dynamics was achieved, in particular by continuing the measures to optimize the balance, which were systematically implemented during the previous year.

“Stimulating the development of priority sectors of the economy by expanding access to credit resources in the post-covid recovery period, Ukreximbank increased its loan and investment portfolio by UAH 3.8 billion in February, focusing on lending to domestic producers to raise export revenues, implement energy efficiency projects and support initiatives of local communities, providing financial support to the military-industrial and fuel and energy sectors,” said Ukreximbank Board Chairman Ievgen Metsger.

As Ukrinform reported, Ukreximbank ended the last year with a loss of UAH 5.6 billion.
