Higher education institutions received UAH 241M from deposit funds’ placement in 2020

Ukrainian higher education institutions received UAH 241 million of income from the placement of deposit funds in 2020, the press service of the Finance Ministry reports.
"According to the State Treasury Service of Ukraine, on deposit accounts in public sector banks in 2020, higher education institutions placed UAH 3,778 million of temporarily free budget funds received for the provision of paid services," reads the report.
In 2020, 87 institutions received income totaling UAH 240.6 million from the placement of deposit funds.
