Ukraine's trade turnover in January 2021 amounted to USD 8.14B

In January 2021, Ukraine imported goods worth USD 4.2 billion (imports increased by USD 87 million, or 2% compared to the same period in 2020).

Exports from Ukraine amounted to USD 3.9 billion (exports decreased by USD 227 million, or 5%).

Balance (difference between exports and imports) was negative and totaled USD 284 million.

The largest importers of goods to Ukraine were China (USD 654 million), Russia (USD 358 million) and Germany (USD 299 million). The largest exporters of Ukrainian goods were China USD 515 million), Poland (USD 296 million), and Turkey (USD 293 million).

The three most exported goods from Ukraine were ferrous metals for a total amount of USD 746 million, grain crops – for USD 562 million, and ores – for USD 517 million.

The imported goods to Ukraine included mineral fuels, oil and its distillation products for a total amount of USD 1 billion, electrical machines, equipment and their components – for USD 421 million, and reactors, boilers, machinery, equipment and mechanical devices – for USD 396 million.
