Pension Fund allocates UAH 29.1B for January pension payments

The Pension Fund of Ukraine has already allocated UAH 29.1 billion for the payment of January pensions, the Fund’s press service reports.
"On January 18, 2021, the Pension Fund of Ukraine continued to finance pension payments for January according to the approved schedule. UAH 2.2 billion has been allocated for pension payments today. Financing of January pension payments worth UAH 29.1 billion has been already provided,” the report reads.
As reported, on December 29, 2020, the Pension Fund started to finance pension payments for January 2021. According to the Fund, the payment of pensions began on January 4, 2021.
