Finance Ministry: 81% of local budgets approved

As of January 6, 2021, 1,298 local budgets were approved, which is 81% of the total (1,597), the press service of the Finance Ministry reports.
According to the ministry, most territorial communities completed the budget planning process and approved their budgets in December 2020.
In particular, the approved budgets include 22 budgets of regions and Kyiv city (Volyn and Chernihiv regions’ budgets have not been approved), 92 district budgets (27 district budgets have not been approved) and 1,172 budgets of territorial communities (266 budgets have not been approved).
