Ukraine’s GDP decreased by 3.5% in Q3 2020

The gross domestic product (GDP) of Ukraine in the third quarter of 2020 decreased by 3.5% compared to the third quarter of 2019, according to data from the State Statistics Service.

Compared to the previous quarter, the country's GDP in the third quarter of this year increased by 8.5% (seasonally adjusted).

As Ukrinform reported, according to preliminary estimates of the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture, the drop in GDP in January-September 2020 should be 5.5% compared to the same period in 2019, and 3.6% in the third quarter of 2020 against the third quarter of last year.
