The Ukrainian government has approved a joint statement on extending Ukraine’s participation in the program “Fit for Partnership with Germany,” the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture reported.

“On November 11, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a draft joint statement on further cooperation between the Governments of Ukraine and the Federal Republic of Germany under the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy’s program for managers "Fit for Partnership with Germany". The program is a tool to support small and medium-sized businesses and promotes their entry into global markets,” reads a report.

Participation in the program opens an opportunity for Ukrainian entrepreneurs and managers to improve their skills and acquire new competencies in the field of business and foreign economic activity.

In addition, participants will have the opportunity to establish business contacts with German and other foreign partners, which will promote Ukrainian products and services in international markets.

Cooperation between Ukraine and Germany within the program has been carried out for 18 years. The signing of the joint statement will allow Ukraine to extend the implementation of the program until the end of 2022.
