UIA cancels flights from Lviv and Kharkiv to Tel Aviv
"From November 8, 2020, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) announces the cancellation of flights between Lviv and Israel until the end of winter navigation and between Kharkiv and Israel until December 5, 2020. These changes take place due to the continuation of quarantine restrictions introduced by the Government of Israel in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” the statement reads.
Meanwhile, other flights between Ukraine and Israel will remain unchanged during the winter navigation, in particular Kyiv (KBP)-Tel Aviv (TLV)-Kyiv (KBP) – eight frequencies per week; Odesa (ODS)-Tel Aviv (TLV)-Odesa (ODS) – two frequencies per week; Dnipro (DNK)-Tel Aviv (TLV)-Dnipro (DNK) – one frequency per week; and Kharkiv (HRK)-Tel Aviv (TLV)-Kharkiv (HRK) – one frequency starting from December 6, 2020
UIA noted that it will closely monitor the epidemiological situation in the country so as not to lose the opportunity to resume flights, provided the situation stabilizes.
