Ukrainian sugar refineries processed 4M tonnes of sugar beets of new harvest

Ukrainian sugar refineries processed 4 million tonnes of sugar beets of new harvest over the first two months of the 2020/2021 marketing year (MY), according to the Ukrtsukor National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine.
"As of November 5, 529.9 thousand tonnes of sugar were produced and 4.03 million tonnes of sugar beets were processed," reads a report.
The sugar beet processing has been carried out at 30 sugar refineries across the country since October 28.
As reported by Ukrinform, the sugar refining season of the 2020/2021 marketing year (MY) in Ukraine officially started on September 5.
