Minister Petrashko, Italian ambassador discuss issues of enhancing bilateral cooperation

"We are interested in deepening mutually beneficial trade and economic relations and further development of sectoral and investment cooperation between our countries," Petrashko said.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation in trade, industry, agriculture, IT and innovation. In addition, the parties discussed cooperation within the Ukrainian-Italian Council for Economic, Industrial and Financial Cooperation and holding the next meeting in December 2020.

The officials also stressed the importance of the process of finalizing the work on updating the intergovernmental agreement on promotion and mutual protection of investments, which is aimed at expanding the prospects for new investment projects, cooperation, public and private partnership.
