Medical institutions get over UAH 670M for increased salaries to doctors – President's Office

Half of the medical institutions in Ukraine have already received funds for increased salaries to doctors for September this year, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.

He said this at a conference call chaired by President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday, October 5, according to the presidential press service.

Shmyhal said that over UAH 670 million had been sent to medical institutions, which will be used to pay increased salaries to doctors.

At the same time, according to the report, 80% of hospitals have already signed contracts with the National Health Service, and the process of concluding agreements with other medical institutions is underway.
