Ukraine interested in cooperation with South Africa in transport sector – Minister Kryklii
Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Kryklii said this during a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Africa to Ukraine Andre Groenewald in Kyiv, the ministry’s press service reports.
In particular, Kryklii stated that the Ukrainian side is interested in the development of cooperation with South Africa and further deepening of cooperation in the transport sector. Ukraine is also interested in joint implementation of projects and development of cooperation in the field of infrastructure.
The parties discussed prospects of possible further cooperation between the two countries in various areas, including aviation and maritime transport.
"The minister stressed the importance of continuing joint work of the two countries on the draft intergovernmental agreement on air services. The final text of this document has already been agreed, and the State Aviation Service of Ukraine is currently translating it for further processing within the state," reads the report.
