Both parties also discussed cooperation in the political, economic and security spheres, stressing the need to expand and intensify bilateral relations. The promising areas of cooperation include infrastructure development, scientific and technical and military cooperation.
Danilov emphasized the importance of attracting Chinese investments to Ukraine, in particular, for the implementation of infrastructure projects.
He also thanked the Chinese side for its contribution to the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic in Ukraine. "We have received significant assistance not only from the Chinese government, but also from a number of Chinese companies," the NSDC's press service quoted Danilov as saying.
Fan, in turn, said that "China will continue to pursue a friendly policy towards Ukraine, cooperate with it in international organizations, and conduct a bilateral dialogue in the spirit of equality and respect."
