Taxpayers in Donetsk region transfer UAH 6B to consolidated budget

Taxpayers in Donetsk region transferred UAH 6 billion in personal income tax to the consolidated budget of the state budget between January-June 2020, which is UAH 63.4 million more than in the same period last year.
"In the first six months of 2020, the amount of personal income tax sent by taxpayers in the Donetsk region to the consolidated budget of the state totalled UAH 6.0 billion. Compared with last year's indicators, revenues from these taxes grew by UAH 63.4 million,” reads a report released by the Main Department of the State Tax Services in the Donetsk region.
It notes that a quarter of the paid personal income tax, namely UAH 1.5 billion, was directed to the state budget of the country, including UAH 277.3 million paid in June.
Respectively, 75% of the total revenues, or UAH 4.5 billion, remain available for local budgets of Donetsk region, which will be used to support the development of the region.
