Local govnts receive over UAH 53 bln from state budget for four months of 2020

In January-April 2020, local governments received UAH 53.4 billion of inter-budget transfers from the state budget, according to the Finance Ministry of Ukraine.
"According to the State Treasury Service, in January-April 2020, local governments received from the state budget UAH 53.4 billion of inter-budget transfers," the report reads.
The bulk of the funds was spent on education, healthcare, social and economic sectors.
In addition, for four months of this year, UAH 2.9 billion of reverse subsidies were transferred from local budgets to the state budget.
