Average salary of Ukrainians grows by almost 12% – State Statistics Service

In March 2020, the average salary in Ukraine amounted to UAH 11,446, which is 11.8% more than in March 2019 and 5.5% more than in February 2020.

The highest salaries in March were recorded in the information and telecommunications sector (UAH 23,303, which is 34.5% more than in March 2019); financial and insurance sector (UAH 21,821; +6.7%); air transport sector (UAH 20,932; -18.7%).

The lowest average salaries in March 2020 were recorded in the sectors of temporary accommodation and catering (UAH 5,648, which is 17.5% less than in March 2019); postal and courier activities (UAH 6,873; +12.6%); the functioning of libraries, archives, museums and other cultural institutions (UAH 7,442; +5.6%).

As reported, according to the State Statistics Service, the average salary in March 2019 amounted to UAH 10,237, which is 22.1% more than in March 2018.
