Ukrzaliznytsia pays almost UAH 22 bln in taxes in 2019

JSC Ukrzaliznytsia paid over UAH 21.8 billion in taxes and fees to budgets of all levels in 2019, according to the company’s press service.
"Ukrzaliznytsia paid more than UAH 21.8 billion (without VAT) in taxes and fees to the state and local budgets in 2019. This is almost 24% of the company's net income, which totaled UAH 90.4 billion," reads the statement.
It notes that Ukrzaliznytsia transferred nearly UAH 11.9 billion to the state budget in 2019. In particular, it paid over UAH 7.3 billion of VAT, UAH 1.8 billion of income tax, over UAH 8.2 billion of single social contribution, UAH 118 million of dividends, and UAH 590 million of military tax etc.
In addition, the company increased payments to local budgets by 52.5%, which amounted to almost UAH 9 billion.
