Ukraine increases exports of grain crops and legumes by 22.5% in current MY

Ukraine has exported 46.04 million tonnes of grain crops and legumes since the beginning of the 2019/2020 marketing year (MY; started July 1, 2019), which is 22.5% more compared with the relevant period last year.   

The information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine reported this with a reference to the State Fiscal Service.

From the beginning of 2019/2020 MY to April 1, 2020, Ukraine exported 46.04 million tonnes of grain crops and legumes, which is 22.5% more than in the relevant period last year. Of these, 17.87 million tonnes of wheat (up 32.9%), 4.35 million tonnes of barley (up 29.9%), 23.30 million tonnes of corn (up 15.6%) were exported.

Exports of flour increased by 32.7% over the reporting period, to 274.6 thousand tonnes.
