Consolidated budget revenue grows by 20% in February

In February 2020, revenue of Ukraine’s consolidated budget made up UAH 62.6 billion, which is 20.1% more than in the relevant period last year, according to the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

“In February 2020, UAH 62.6 billion was transferred to the consolidated budget, which is 20.1% or UAH 10.5 billion more than in the corresponding period last year,” the report says.

It is noted that revenue of the state budget made up UAH 38.2 billion, which is 27.2% or UAH 8.2 billion more than in the relevant period last year.

Local budgets received UAH 24.4 billion, which is UAH 2.3 billion or 10.5% more than in February 2019.

The State Tax Service also provided data on budget revenue for the first two months of the current year. The balance of tax revenues to the consolidated budget totaled UAH 106.4 billion, which is UAH 15.1 billion or 16.6% more than in January-February 2019.

The state budget received UAH 61.3 billion (up UAH 10.4 billion, 20.5%), and local budgets received UAH 45.1 billion (up UAH 4.7 billion, 11.6%).

“The largest share of revenues to the consolidated budget is made up by receipts and collections of personal income tax, which amounted to UAH 44.2 billion in January-February. It is UAH 5.5 billion or 14.3% more than in January-February of the previous year,” reads the report.

As Ukrinform reported, the State Tax Service of Ukraine in February 2020 exceeded by UAH 2.5 billion the Finance Ministry's target for taxes and fees to the general fund of the state budget.
