Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba believes that coronavirus outbreak slows down the processes related to the planned Ukraine-China trade integration.

"[Coronavirus outbreak] slows down many processes. We need investments, opening of new industrial sites. We could already launch dynamic talks on these issues with China, but so far we just actively work on projects on our part," Kuleba wrote on Twitter, answering his followers’ questions.

However, he expressed hope that the situation would soon stabilize and he would be able to make an official visit to China in the first half of the year.

As of February 27, coronavirus has infected 82,140 cases globally and caused over 2,800 deaths; 32,755 people recovered.

No laboratory-confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in Ukraine, the Health Ministry informs.
