Ukraine received $2.5 bln in foreign direct investment last year

In 2019, the inflow of foreign direct investment into Ukraine totalled $2.5 billion.

"As for foreign direct investment growth, it totalled $2.5 billion," Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Dmytro Solohub said at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Ukraine currently sees a positive trend in investment based upon the increase in foreign direct investment and a drop in dividend outflow.

In 2018, the FDI net inflow into Ukraine amounted to $2.4 billion, more than half of which directed to the real economy sector.
