Ukrainians will be able to use Internet on planes – PM Honcharuk

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made it possible to use mobile Internet on flight at all phases, from boarding till getting off a plane.
The corresponding decision was approved at a government meeting on Wednesday.
Apart from that, a range for mobile communications was extended. "This is an important step towards the emergence of high-quality Internet in small villages and remote regions," Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk said.
He added that an important anti-corruption decision had been made in this direction. Henceforth, frequencies intended for 5G will be distributed between operators only through open tenders.
