Naftogaz secures 16% of revenues to state budget in 2019

"A total amount of tax and dividend payments of Naftogaz Group to state and local budgets in 2019 reached UAH 120.3 billion, including income tax - UAH 22.3 billion, VAT - UAH 32.3 billion, rent payments - UAH 32.2 billion, dividends - UAH 20.8 billion and others. At the same time, Naftogaz paid UAH 15.1 billion of taxes and dividends for 2019 ahead of schedule in the fourth quarter of 2019, as agreed with the Finance Ministry,” reads the statement.

Revenues from Naftogaz group accounted for about 16% of the total state budget revenues in 2019.

As Ukrinform reported, the actual aggregate amount of the group's tax and dividend payments to the budgets of all levels reached UAH 136.5 billion in 2018. Naftogaz payments to the budget in 2018 exceeded the amount of payments transferred in 2017 by more than 27%. Revenues from Naftogaz Group accounted for about 15% of the total state budget revenues in 2018.
