Over 13 bln cu m of gas injected into Ukrainian gas storages this year

"In January-November 2019, 13.1 billion cubic meters of gas were injected into Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities, while 6.2 billion cubic meters of gas were withdrawn, down 26%," press service of JSC Ukrtransgaz reports.

As noted, gas imports have increased by 38% as 14.0 billion cubic meters of natural gas were imported into Ukraine over the past 11 months.

As of December 1, 2019, the natural gas inflows into the GTS from Ukrainian gas production enterprises remained at the same level compared to last year — 18.9 billion cubic meters.

In January - November 2019, gas consumption decreased by 6%.

As of December 1, 2019, 20.7 billion cubic meters were accumulated in the Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities, up 29% compared to the same period last year.
