NBU purchases $867.8 mln in interbank market in November

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) purchased $867.8 million in the interbank foreign exchange market in November 2019, the central bank’s press service reports.
In the period from November 4 to November 8, the NBU purchased $372 million. From November 11 to November 15, the regulator purchased $191.8 million, from November 18 to November 22 - $120 million, and from November 25 to November 29 - $184 million. In November, the central bank did not sell currency in the interbank market.
Since the beginning of 2019, the volume of currency purchased by the National Bank amounted to $5.48 billion, while sales amounted to $479.23 million.
