Naftogaz raises gas price for population

“The gas price for the population in November is the lowest since 2016," reads the report.

At the same time, the company noted that "this month the regulated price of gas turned out to be higher than the price on the terms of the Naftogaz ‘s offer ‘gas reserve’ (UAH 4,874.42 per 1,000 cubic meters), so consumers, who have taken advantage of this offer, can save their funds".

Naftogaz also reminded that the price of natural gas for Ukrainian households is determined by a formula reflecting market prices with a two-month lag. The formula is envisaged in the government’s resolution as of April 3, 2019, No.293, which will be in effect until the end of 2019.

As Ukrinform reported, the price of natural gas for Ukrainian households decreased by 4.9% in October against September, to UAH 4,272.76 per 1,000 cubic meters (excluding VAT, tariffs set by gas distribution companies and transportation costs).
