Ukraine's state debt grows by $1.02 bln in September – Finance Ministry

Ukraine's state and government-guaranteed debt decreased by UAH 69.44 billion in the hryvnia equivalent, and grew by USD 1.02 billion in the dollar equivalent in September, the Finance Ministry reported.

"As of September 30, 2019, the state and government-guaranteed debt of Ukraine amounted to UAH 1,997.75 billion or USD 82.95 billion, including the state and government-guaranteed external debt in the amount of UAH 1,159.84 billion (58.06% of the total sum of the state and government-guaranteed debt) or USD 48.16 billion, and the state and government-guaranteed domestic debt in the amount of UAH – 837.91 billion (41.94%) or USD 34.79 billion," reads the report.

As reported, the state and government-guaranteed debt of Ukraine as of August 31, 2019 amounted to UAH 2,067.13 billion, or USD 81.92 billion. In August 2019, the state and government-guaranteed debt of Ukraine decreased by UAH 0.51 billion in the hryvnia equivalent, and by USD 0.5 billion in the dollar equivalent.
