Ukrainian ministers to hold talks with IMF next week

The group of Ukrainian ministers will attend the Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund next week to hold talks with the IMF.

"We are now actively negotiating with the IMF on a new support program. Next week, a group of ministers is heading to the United States to attend the Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund and to hold talks with the Fund," Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk posted on Facebook.

The Prime Minister added that cooperation with international partners and donors is extremely important for Ukraine. Large systematic investors around the world are closely following the relations of the state with large international partners.

Earlier, Honcharuk said that the Government hopes for the start of a new IMF loan program for Ukraine. "We expect this program to start in December and last three years. This memorandum is to appear in December," the Prime Minister added.
