As of September 11, 19 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas was pumped into Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities.

CEO of Naftogaz of Ukraine Andriy Kobolyev wrote this on his Facebook page.

“The mark of 19 billion cubic meters of gas in underground storage facilities has been crossed. We are ahead of the plan," he said.

According to Kobolyev, Ukraine continues to buy gas from the European direction and it still doesn’t purchase gas from the Russian direction.

Also, Naftogaz earlier reported on its Facebook page that gas reserves in Ukraine’s underground storage facilities exceeded a maximum level in the past eight years
