Draft state budget for 2020 to be submitted on time – Finance Ministry

"We meet with our new colleagues very often to qualitatively develop this budget on time... This budget must be balanced... The budget will be submitted on time, it has been actively discussed and I hope that it will be approved early enough,” said Finance Minister Oksana Markarova during the Svoboda Slova talk show on Monday evening.

She noted that the draft state budget for 2020 will be based on the revenues that are expected next year and the document will be developed based on the documents submitted by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to the Cabinet of Ministers and the Parliament on September 2.

As Ukrinform reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the government to submit a draft state budget for 2020 by September 15.
