Gas reserves in Ukrainian underground storages 3.6 bcm more than a year ago

As of September 2019, Ukraine pumped 3.6 billion cubic meters of gas more into its underground gas storage facilities than last year, Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC has reported.
"The volume of gas in underground gas storage facilities is 3.6 billion cubic meters more than last year," the company’s press service reports.
In August, Ukraine increased its gas reserves in underground gas storage facilities by 2.4 billion cubic meters. And the volume of gas in Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities amounted to 18.3 billion cubic meters.
As a reminder, NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine needs to accumulate about 20 billion cubic meters of gas to ensure the stable heating season of 2019-2020.
As of September 2018, Ukraine accumulated 14.6 billion cubic meters of gas; as of September 2017 – 14.8 billion cubic meters of gas.
