Zelensky meets with World Bank delegation to discuss further cooperation

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with a World Bank delegation led by President of the World Bank Group David Malpass, the president’s press service reports.

Zelensky thanked for the support of Ukraine and informed about the steps planned in reforming the country. “We are a different team. We do not have time at all. Our key tasks are not just to fight corruption, but to overcome it,” the president said during a meeting on Friday evening.

The head of state noted that the newly established Anti-Corruption Court would start working on September 5. Zelensky also stressed the importance of adopting land reform, infrastructure development and public-private partnership.

The president expressed hope for the continued financial support and technical assistance from the World Bank for the course of reforms in Ukraine. He invited the World Bank representatives to the investment forum that will be held in Mariupol.
