Ukrzaliznytsia increases passenger traffic by over 20% in summer

The summer season is in full swing. JSC Ukrzaliznytsia daily carries about 141 thousand passengers, which is over 20% more than in spring, according to Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia Yevhen Kravtsov.
“We are making every effort to provide our passengers with the necessary number of seats in trains and proper service. JSC Ukrzaliznytsia provided additional 32 trains for the summer traffic season. Thus, at present, 147 trains run daily in Ukraine,” Kravtsov said.
In particular, more than 70 trains run to the coast of the Black and Azov Seas.
Kravtsov recalled that JSC Ukrzaliznytsia continued to renovate the fleet on its own, and more than half of the passenger cars had been equipped with air conditioning systems.
