Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he intends to deepen cooperation with international financial and political entities.

He stated this in an interview with German tabloid Bild on the eve of his visit to Germany on June 18.

"What is important to emphasize is that as a real politician, I will cooperate with the international partners of Ukraine. Our urgent goal now is to develop good relations with the IMF, as well as with the European Union and NATO," Zelensky said.

Speaking about the Euro-Atlantic prospects of Ukraine, he expressed hope that the EU countries would see Ukraine as an equal member and Ukraine would do everything for that.

Zelensky said that NATO standards would be introduced in the Ukrainian Armed Forces and in the security sector and expressed confidence that Ukraine was already a reliable partner of the alliance and, in the future, could become a reliable member of the alliance.
