Ukrainian aviation products to enter Turkish market – memorandum

“The signing of the memorandum [of mutual understanding between the State Aviation Service of Ukraine and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Turkey on the development of civil aviation security] opens access for Ukrainian aviation products to the Turkish market and reduces the time and financial burden on the Ukrainian operator when using aviation products of Turkey,” reads the statement.

The signing ceremony took place in Istanbul yesterday. Ukraine was represented by Chairman of the State Aviation Service Oleksandr Bilchuk, Turkey – by Acting Director General of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Turkey Bahri Kesici.

In addition, the memorandum opens up further prospects for the conclusion of a bilateral intergovernmental agreement on flight safety between Ukraine and the Republic of Turkey.
