Vice PM Kubiv: Health Ministry is one of largest recipients of international assistance
"As of June, the Economic Development Ministry registered 425 ongoing international technical assistance projects, with a total estimated cost of $5.7 billion, which are being implemented now. In general, Ukraine receives technical assistance from the United States (93 projects), the European Union (171 projects), Germany (33 projects), Canada (12 projects), Switzerland (10 projects) and other countries,” First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv said at the Cabinet’s meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to him, the Health Ministry is one of the largest recipients.
“It is the Ministry of Health, which is directly responsible for technical assistance and the policy of its use in healthcare," Kubiv said.
