First Vice PM Kubiv: Small privatization brings over UAH 1 bln to state budget
"Small privatization has already brought UAH 1.6 billion to the state budget. More than 800 successful auctions have been held with an average of 2.7 participants in each and an average increase in initial price +61.24%," First Vice Prime Minister – Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv said during the agenda-setting council in the Verkhovna Rada, the Ministry’s press service posted on Twitter.
As reported, according to the Law of Ukraine "On Privatization of State and Municipal Property," which entered into force in March 2018, small privatization takes place through the electronic procurement system ProZorro.Sale. This concerns the assets of state and municipal property worth up to UAH 250 million. Small-scale privatization facilities are put for auctions by the State Property Fund of Ukraine and local authorities.
