Kharkiv airport increases international passenger traffic by 57 percent

In April, the international passenger traffic at the Kharkiv International Airport grew by 57 percent.

"In April 2019, the international passenger traffic at the Kharkiv Airport totaled 75,500 people, up 57% compared with April last year, when the traffic was 48,100 people. Taking into account domestic flights, 92,900 passengers used the airport services in April, up 43% compared with last year," the press service of the airport reports.

It is noted that the number of flights in April increased by 27% - from 327 up to 414. In total, 282 international flights and 132 domestic flights were performed.

The most popular destinations were Sharm El-Sheikh, Kyiv, Istanbul, Vienna and Warsaw. The flights to Rome and Milan, launched in March, gain popularity as well.
