Wage arrears in Ukraine reach almost UAH 2.5 bln

Total wage arrears in Ukraine amounted to UAH 2.446 billion as of March 1, 2019, according to State Secretary of the Social Policy Ministry Viktor Ivankevych.
“As of March 1, 2019, wage arrears in Ukraine amounted to UAH 2,446 million, including UAH 466 million and UAH 437 million of debts in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, respectively,” Ivankevych said during the Government Question Hour meeting on April 26, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
He also added that debts of enterprises located in the area of the Joint Forces Operation made up almost UAH 1 billion, or 36.8%.
