Large taxpayers declare UAH 12.6 billion of VAT in January 2019

The payers of the Large Taxpayers’ Office of the State Fiscal Service declared UAH 12.6 billion in value added tax (VAT) for January 2019, according to the website of the Large Taxpayers’ Office.
"In January 2019, the payers of the Office declared to pay UAH 12.6 billion of VAT, which is UAH 2.6 billion, or 26% more than in the last three months of 2018 and the previous reporting period,” the report says.
The State Fiscal Service noted that compared with the financial and economic activities for the same period last year (January 2018), sales volumes in Ukraine grew only by 2.8%. At the same time, VAT charges rose by 26%.
The Large Taxpayers’ Office of the State Fiscal Service provided 66.7% of all VAT charges in Ukraine.
