Ukrainian infrastructure minister expects great prospects in digital field from FTA with Israel
"It is, undoubtedly, a huge step forward... These are tremendous prospects in the digital infrastructure. Israel is known as the nation of startups, they are investing a lot in the development of digital infrastructure, new inventions. I hope that together we will be able to implement many good projects. We have been already working in the field of cybersecurity and transport innovations," Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan said on the air of Channel 5, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
He added that the agreement was actually a great impetus to bilateral trade, and significant results would be seen in one or two years.
On January 21, Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv and Israel's Minister of Economy and Industry Eli Cohen signed a free trade agreement between the two countries.
