Over UAH 130 bln reimbursed to businesses in Ukraine in 2018

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) reimbursed UAH 131.7 billion worth of value added tax (VAT) in 2018, which is 9.7% or UAH 1.6 billion more than in 2017, according the SFS press service.
"In 2018, UAH 131.7 billion worth of VAT was reimbursed to taxpayers, which is 9.7% or UAH 11.6 billion more compared to the previous year. UAH 120.1 billion worth of VAT was returned to taxpayers in 2017,” reads the report.
The State Fiscal Service also reported on the growth of average monthly amount of VAT reimbursement. In particular, the average monthly amount of VAT reimbursed in 2018 grew to UAH 11 billion from UAH 10 billion in 2017.
In December 2018, UAH 10.1 billion worth of VAT was reimbursed to taxpayers.
