Ukrainian infrastructure minister announces construction of new airport

In 2019, the construction of a new airport in Dnipropetrovsk region will be launched.
"This year, we launch the construction of an airport in Dnipropetrovsk region at the initiative of the government. It is the first airport that will be built since Ukraine has gained the independence. We assume that this airport should be located between the cities of Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia and be a hub airport actually," Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan said on the air of the Priamyi Ukrainian TV channel.
The minister also stressed that the construction works would last two years at least.
