Defense enterprises announced 43,000 tenders in 2018 – Ukroboronprom

"In 2018, more than 43,000 commercial electronic tenders were created by the enterprises subordinated to the State Concern Ukroboronprom. In general, since the launch of electronic trading platforms, the number of announced tenders by the Concern's enterprises reached 140,000,” reads the report.

The press service of the concern stressed that such figures were the result of the targeted work on the establishment of transparent and accountable procurement, as Ukroboronprom was one of the first state associations that introduced transparent electronic trading in 2014, before they became mandatory,

It is noted that Ukroboronprom in 2018 held an open tender to select an electronic trading platform for procurement. The State Concern evaluated offers from 27 applicants and selected SmartTender, which received the largest number of points. And as of the beginning of November 2018, 61 enterprises of Ukroboronprom started to conduct purchases through SmartTender.
