More than 7,300 km of roads built in Ukraine over past 4 years

More than 7,300 km of roads have been built in Ukraine over the past four years.
Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan stated this on the Priamyi TV Channel, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"We have repaired a huge number of motorways all over Ukraine. In fact, repairs or construction of roads took place in every region. This year – 3,800 km, it is the distance from Kyiv to Madrid. Over four years after the Maidan [the Revolution of Dignity in 2014], more than 7,300 km of roads have been built, this is the Highway from Kyiv to New York. Weight control, quality control of road works, as well as many other parameters have been introduced. We work not only at the level of Ukravtodor and the Infrastructure Ministry, but we also cooperate with many other agencies and the public,” said Omelyan.
