Ukrenergo, Moldelektrica sign operation agreement

“This will allow us to accelerate the integration of the power systems of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova into the European power system ENTSO-E and regulate the conditions for the future interconnection of the power systems of Ukraine and Moldova with the power system of the Continental Europe,” reads the report.

The Agreement contains general technological aspects, provisions and technical specifications for ensuring the simultaneous operation of the power systems of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, fully compliant with the requirements and rules of ENTSO-E. Also, a fast procedure for making amendments to the Agreement has been developed, which allow the parties to rapidly establish cooperation relations during the interconnection of the power systems with ENTSO-E.
