Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan hopes that the agreement on common aviation area between Ukraine and the EU will be signed "the day after Brexit."
“I am grateful for the active stance of France on the common aviation area as an actual restraint now is the lack of a common aviation area between Ukraine and the EU. I hope we will be able to sign this agreement the next day after Brexit,” Omelyan said during a meeting with French Minister of Transport Elisabeth Borne, the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reports.
Minister Borne noted that France supported Ukraine in signing the agreement on common aviation area.
As reported, Ukraine and the European Union initialed the agreement on common aviation area back in 2013. However, it has not yet been signed full and complete and has not yet entered into force.
