Average monthly salary in Ukraine grew by almost a quarter

The average monthly salary in Ukraine amounted to UAH 9,063 in the third quarter of 2018, which is 24.7% more year-on-year, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
The highest average monthly salary in the third quarter of 2018 was recorded in the air transport industry (UAH 39,439; + 11% year-on-year), in the financial and insurance sectors (UAH 16,205; + 23.3%), and in the information and telecommunications sectors (UAH 14,282; + 18.4%).
The lowest average monthly salary in the third quarter of 2018 was recorded in the postal and courier sector (UAH 5,068; + 26.9%), in the healthcare and social assistance (UAH 5,588 thousand, + 17.4%), and in the temporary accommodation and catering industry (UAH 14,282; + 18.3%).
